Sean StraussVP of Clinical Services
Sean Strauss, BS, RT(R), CT, is the Vice President of Clinical Services. He joined CereScan in June 2014 and provides operational leadership and support. Most recently, Sean Strauss was the Radiology Manager and Supervisor at Centura St. Anthony’s North Medical Imaging Department. Previously, he served as the Supervisor of both the CT scan and Nuclear Medicine Departments at Children’s Hospital Colorado, as well as Chair of the Inpatient Patient Satisfaction Committee and the Radiology Patient Satisfaction Committee. Sean earned his BS in Medical Imaging Technology from the University of Southern Indiana.
Laurie HaynieChief Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Laurie Haynie, Registered Radiologic Technologist; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, is the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist for CereScan.
Laurie has been working in the Radiology and Nuclear medicine fields for over 30 years. Her practical experience includes 16 years at Plains Regional Medical Center in New Mexico, as well as working in private practice and an Emergency Medicine clinic. Laurie works from start to finish with our patients, performing all of the proprietary technical aspects of our imaging processes. In addition to her outstanding technical skills, she has a wonderful manner with people, providing excellent patient care every step of the way. Laurie also provides technical oversight of our affiliate clinics with remote and on-site supervision & training of the Nuclear Medicine Staff.
Deb ScheerPatient Care Coordinator
Deb Scheer is a Patient Care Coordinator. Her background includes over 15 years in the medical field assisting patients in the role of medical assistant. She also served as a corporate trainer, teaching consultative sales. Deb’s passionate, caring nature motivates her to understand a patient’s concerns, to educate them about our imaging procedures, and to compassionately guide them through the process. She earned her BA in Music from the State University of New York at Oswego. Deb has been a part of the CereScan team since August 2013.
Sarah SobotkaPatient Care Coordinator
Sarah Sobotka is a Patient Care Coordinator. Her varied background includes patient education consulting, preschool language curriculum development and instruction, and volunteering for multiple service organizations in the U.S. and abroad. She is devoted to providing an excellent patient experience for all CereScan patients and their families. She earned two degrees, a BFA in Studio Arts and a BS in Spanish, both from University of Nebraska. Prior to joining CereScan, Sarah was a Patient Consultant at Clear Choice Dental in Denver. She has been a part of the CereScan team since October 2013.
Hilary SparrowMid-Level Provider
Hilary Sparrow is a Mid-Level Provider at CereScan. She earned her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Psychology at Denver Seminary. In her role, she helps patients understand how their neuro-physiological anatomy contributes to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She also administers neuro-psychiatric assessments, and gathers clinical history. Her warmth, empathy, and professional skill-set ensures patients and physicians are well equipped with accurate diagnostic information .
Her clinical experience includes providing billable DSM diagnostic services in a professional EAP setting. She also has therapeutic experience helping clients understand and overcome substance abuse, addictions, eating disorders, anxiety and depression.
She is certified by the State of Colorado as a Registered Psychotherapist and also holds a National Certified Counselor certification.
Lindsay QuandtImaging Applications Engineer
Lindsay Quandt is an Imaging Applications Engineer. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Imaging and Photographic Technology with a minor in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Together her education, internship at Canon U.S.A. Inc. and participation in the International Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE) piqued her interest in the biomedical applications of imaging. To develop her skills in this area, she is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Bioengineering and Business at the University of Colorado Denver. At CereScan, Lindsay integrates her training and experience to support the development of CereMetrix™ and utilization of imaging and clinical data for diagnostic and research purposes.
